If you don't prefer local backups, you can sync OneNote with your Microsoft account. The selected notes are now available in your existing notebook. In the window that opens, select the notepad in which you want to restore the deleted notes and press “Copy” at the bottom. This will help you restore your note to your existing notebooks. Here, right click on the section or page name of the note at the top and select "Move or Copy". The selected note will open on your screen. Double-click the notebook folder from which you want to restore the notes, then select the notes section and click "Open." Here, select “Info” from the left sidebar, then click “Open Backups” on the right.Ī window will open showing your notebooks (as folders) that have been backed up. ![]() When the OneNote window opens, click "File" in the upper left corner of the window. To start the process of recovering your lost notes, open the "Start" menu, search for "OneNote" and click on the application in the results.
